About IFCC

IFCC is a multidisciplinary art center in North Portland, featuring performances, exhibits, events and classes in our theatre, gallery and dance studio.

We exist to promote, foster and showcase diversity in the arts.

As a multidisciplinary arts center, we provide a platform for emerging and experienced artists working in the visual, literary and performing arts.

As a cultural center, we produce, partner and program educational and artistic opportunities to teach and learn about Portland’s diverse communities through the arts.

As a community center, we are committed to our roots in North and Northeast Portland.

Our programs

Arts Education

IFCC offers and sponsors performing arts and personal enrichment experiences to students age 2–102. We are committed to offering a wide range of creative experiences which support and encourage the creative force in our community. We strive to keep classes and workshops affordable, accessible, and of the highest quality.

Gallery

Monthly art exhibits feature diverse artistic traditions and the work of new and emerging artists. IFCC mounts shows in two galleries each month, the Main Gallery and the Entry Gallery.

Theatre

IFCC‘s theatre is home to a lively array of theatre performances; art exhibits; lectures; readings; discussions and classes. Through our rentals we look to foster new artists, new work and to support and honor established professionals all the while challenging our audiences and creating a forum for cultural dialogue.
