Our mission

IFCC continues its 25-year mission as a multidisciplinary arts center that awakens cultural awareness by creating an environment for artists and audiences to explore, honor, and celebrate diversity.

Our Values

These values are the ways we embody in our work with artists, audiences, students and community members.

We strive to be welcoming and inclusive by creating a warm, open and welcoming community space for youth and adults by acknowledging the value of each IFCC participant, encouraging creative expression, and acting as steward of the center.

We celebrate diversity of human experiences by showcasing the rich fabric of cultures, ethnicities and histories within our community.

We make the artist central from folk to fine arts, we cultivate emerging and experienced artists with programming that focuses on collaboration, incubation and mentoring.

We catalyze the growth and transformation of artists and audiences by challenging them with bold programs that awaken new ideas, promote cultural awareness, and present opportunities to learn from one another.

We help build our community by pursuing spontaneous and planned connections within our community by nurturing active participation in the arts, intergenerational storytelling, and positive relationships with our neighbors.
