KO&Co.‘s dance show ExpecTUtion literally reshapes the expected base of a flat dance floor to reexamine our expections. Ko&Co.‘s ensemble of ten dancers blend modern dance, post modern ballet, improvisation, acrobatics and capoeira on a stage designed by Carly Boynton and built by Portland carpenters. The stage will be made up of segments of conves and concave curves to create a unique terrain including a 12-foot gulley, intersecting deep slopes, and an open arch. Ko&Co. ...

Come play on a movement playground with slides, peaks, valleys, tunnels and domes. Led by KO&Co.’s Katrina O’Brien, kids get to move around KO&Co.‘s circus-like playground, learn some of the movement from the show, create their own dances, engage in movement games and basically just have fun in movement.
