Our education programs

IFCC offers and sponsors performing arts and personal enrichment experiences to students age 2–102. We are committed to offering a wide range of creative experiences that support and encourage the creative force in our community.

Urban Arts

Our Urban Arts program features the cutting edge of new art forms including Hip Hop dance, spoken word, and television production. For current Urban Arts classes click here.

Culture Club

Culture Club allows students full immersion into ethnic and cultural arts through dance, art and theatre. For current Culture Club classes click here.

Theatre & Dance

Our Theatre & Dance program offers traditional training for the performer including acting, improvisation, clowning and circus arts, yoga and modern dance. Spanish language acting classes are also available. For current Theatre & Dance classes click here.

Private Classes for Adults

Taught by Portland’s finest award winning performers, these classes are for those interested in furthering their skills in acting, dance and other artistic endeavors. For current private classes click here.




We strive to keep classes and workshops affordable, accessible, and of the highest quality. We produce three education programs, each designed to expose you to new ways of creating in the arts. Whether its folk arts or fine arts, our education programs celebrate the diversity of human experiences by showcasing the rich fabric of cultures, ethnicities and histories within our community.
