IFCC welcomes it’s 25th anniversary featured Artist Roberta Wong for her first IFCC solo show. She is an accomplished Asian-American conceptual artist who curated the IFCC Gallery for 18 years. Her extraordinary installation is drawn from everyday experiences and ordinary objects which includes pieces from her controversial Chinks III and her new series The Lint Years.
“As a conceptual artist I present ideas. Those ideas are based upon a common factor: We are human. And, my hope is that we learn to embrace our humanity. For those reasons, my art is drawn from everyday life experiences and ordinary objects. I seek visual elements that are commonplace as to not separate art from life or life from art.” Roberta Wong
