New York based film maker and photographer Deborah Marcano joins us to share her deep connection to the community of Lalibela Ethiopia. Deborah fuses her passions for photography and urban affairs by capturing skirting images of local residents and events. Stunning and compassionate photos highlight the natural beauty and culture that resonates in the midst of heart-wrenching poverty. Her work is not only artistically exciting but her life journey and growing relationship with the people of Lalibela are also a work of art. Find out more and meet this artists/activist at her opening. Join her in conversation at the tea.
