Support the Arts
OPTION #1: BEGINNING tomorrow – Attend a Citywide Community Budget Forum!
Join City Council, Bureau Directors and your neighbors at one of Portland’s Community Budget Forums and voice your priorities for next year’s City budget. Finances are tight and your input on what programs and services are most important to keep is needed! IFCC is part of the Parks and Recreation Budget, “Pass-Through Funds to other agencies”. This pass-through line is traditionally awarded based on the council recommendations. Portland City Council needs to hear from you. Let them know how important it is to you that there be an arts organization that cultivates diversity in the arts, which in turn stimulates our economy, providing jobs to over 100 artists a year, and economic stimulus to our surrounding neighborhood businesses.
