An Overview of 2009/2010 City Budget Process

What’s New
- Commissioner Nick Fish and Director Zari Santner presented the bureau’s requested budget to Council on Monday, March 16. The presentation was well received and Zari is optimistic that the Council will accept the bureau’s revenue projections.
- Council is now weighing these options and others as they consider the requested budgets from all City bureaus.
Upcoming Dates
* The Mayor will announce his proposed budget on Tuesday, April 28.
- City Council will hear public comments on all bureaus’ requested budgets from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 21.
- Council action to adopt the FY 2009–2010 budget and the Spring BuMP will be held on Thursday, June 18.

IFCC programming update March 2010
IFCC is available by appointment only beginning April 13. The organizations office/staff will be leaving the building April 30, 2010. IFCC Board may be reached after that date at info@ifccarts.org.
The theatre is booked and busy until June 30 2010. Performances include Portland Improv Group, Vagabond Opera, Dance Coalition of Oregon, and Nomadic Theatre.
During this time IFCC will also contunie to support its community of dance teachers, community groups and Sunday church guests.
IFCC‘s gallery will be closed until further notice.
We will continue our education programs including Portland Theatre Brigade and Ockely Green Visual Arts. Please see the message from the IFCC Board on our main page for more information regarding the future of the organization.
