2009-10 Season Changes
Updates to IFCC 2009–10 season
As most arts organizations and many non profits, IFCC is feeling the squeeze of the economic down turn. While already a very lean organization we have had to re examine our capacity to present as many wonderful programs as we would like. In addition, several of our performing partners have not weathered the storm. Many of our funders were simply not able to help as they have in the past. We remain dedicated to our mission, our artists and to you, our community.
We have significantly cut our staffing to a minimum along with any other projects that did not directly serve the mission and have sufficient sponsors to support it. We will weather this storm and while we do so we are refocusing on our mission and building our board and volunteer base. While we are going to be doing less, we will be doing it better- spending more preparation time with each artist; communicating better with you so you know what is next on the horizon and honing in on that special thing we do- incubating unique projects that tell the world’s stories in a new light.
