“Jennifer was recently named one of the Funniest Lesbians by Curve Magazine.” (November 2008)

Jennifer’s multi-cultural background (American Indian & African American) is the start of the comic stew. Throw in the pangs of first love, dysfunctional family dynamics, and coming out with Diana Ross. Add the perfect lesbian wedding for seasoning and the result is a performance feast that leaves folks laughing, cajoled into thinking about diversity, acceptance, & letting go of judgment. This funny, emotional, thought-provoking performance has mesmerized audiences across the spectrum – students, faculty, professional providers, human rights organizations, and general audiences across the country.

None of the Above received the Special Achievement Award in 2008 from the National Association of Black & White Men Together. The show was honored with the awards for Best of the Festival & Best Socio-Political Play at the the National Gay & Lesbian Theatre Festival in 2006 was nominated for several awards at Harvest Montreal : The International Gay & Lesbian Theatre Festival. It was seen at the Los Angeles Women’s Theatre Festival and has toured across the United States including Performance Space 122 in New York, Millersville University; University of Hawaii at Hilo; North Carolina School of the Arts; Provincetown, MA; Portland Oregon; Louisiana State University, University of Colorado at Boulder; Bennett College, and Boulder (CO) Pride Block Party.
